This past weekend, I sent my wife off on a personal retreat. She spent time away from the constant needs of the family. She walked and prayed and watched a movie. A day and a half off. 

Meanwhile…I held the fort down. 

I want to brag about it. I want to talk about how impressive it is that I managed 4 kids, 2 sporting events and kept everyone alive and happy (mostly). 

But then I remembered that this is literally what my wife does EVERY DAY. 

She is so impressive. I am more thankful for her than ever.
