I love the rain. I love it.

It makes the plants happy. It gives me an excuse to wear whatever I want and call it “rain gear.” It slows things down just enough.

And around here, it actually matters. Austin needs the water. The soil needs it. The lakes need it. But mostly, the trees.

I love trees. I want them big, steady, and growing for a long time. Rain is how that happens. So yeah… I’ll take a good rainy day over clear skies most of the time.
