I drive 290 toward Dripping Springs all the time (my office is that way), which means I drive through that construction zone constantly. Some days it looks like real progress. Some days it looks like everyone disappeared for a week. But I’m still rooting for it.

That stretch badly needs help. This part of town has grown fast, and the roads have not kept up. So yes, it’s frustrating in the moment. But when it’s done, it’s going to make life a whole lot better for a whole lot of people.
