Things Kids Remember
I’ve been thinking about what kids actually remember from childhood.
The answer is: we have absolutely no idea.
One random memory I have is eating sushi with my dad and accidentally eating way too much wasabi. I doubt my dad went into that dinner thinking, Nolan will remember this decades from now.
But I do.
So maybe the goal isn’t manufacturing perfect childhood memories. Just do lots of things together. Go places. Eat weird food. Play. Laugh a lot. Be around.
We’ll see what sticks.
My standard advice to friends with newborns is even simpler: Love them and don’t drop them.
So far, I stand by it.
Cheers, Nolan |
